Did you know that your putter defines your swing path?

Yes. Your putter may be designed for a straight or arched swing. At Willy Golf, we explain how to check which style your putter is and why.

First, hold your putter by the shaft at the balance point, as shown in the photo:

If the clubface points upwards, it means it is designed for a straighter swing. However, if the clubface points to one side, it means it is designed for an arched swing.

This is due to the weight compensation in the clubface and the shaft alignment, generally oriented to the center of the head.
